Kia Reaches Further Into the World of Sports

We all know of the partnership between NBA player, Blake Griffin and Kia. It seems as though the sports bug has bitten the South Korean automaker these days, as they've opted to join into the fray of another advertising campaign, this time with the LPGA (Ladies Pro Golf Association). This is a bold move if you ask anyone here at Elk Grove Kia, and one that we'd like to take a minute to shed a little light on.

Kia will be serving as the "Official Automotive Partner of the LPGA" and the "Official Tournament Vehicle" for a total of eight LPGA tournaments. This sponsorship isn't merely restricted to the flash of a logo, however. Rather, Kia will be providing each course with a Kia "hole-in-one" vehicle to be showcased on select Par 3 courses at each Kia-sponsored courses.

"Kia is experiencing unprecedented growth and our growing roster of high-profile sports marketing initiatives, including our presence with the LPGA, have led to dramatic increases in consumer perception, awareness and consideration for the brand," explains Michael Sprague, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Kia. "Attendance and TV viewership of the Kia Classic tournament has grown, and with the tour's talented field of exciting young players sparking more interest in the sport, it was an easy decision to expand our relationship."1

Of course, you can always count on getting a hole-in-one when you test drive a new Kia at 8480 Laguna Grove Dr. Elk Grove, CA  95757. And our friendly staff can easily be reached with any inquiries that you may have simply by contacting us online or by phone at (877) 268-4983. We're always happy to answer questions regarding financing your next Kia, whether it be the Kia Sedona, Forte, or Soul.
